DMTI Spatial is an Authorized Reseller of Bell Canada’s Area Code Exchange (ACE) Network File
DMTI Spatial™ has become an authorized reseller for Bell Canada’s area code exchange mapping data. Bell’s Area Code Exchange (ACE) network file is a data set of boundaries, points and attributes for each of its Wire Centres throughout Ontario and Quebec.
Specifically, ACE network files pinpoint Bell’s central offices and the boundaries of the Wire Centres served by each office. The data allows users to geographically locate customers based on their area code (NPA) and 3-digit exchange (NXX).
Linked to their respective Wire Centre boundaries, known as polygons, the NPA and NXX combination allows users to identify the approximate calling limits of specific telephone numbers. Bell’s network files allow for wide ranging analysis to occur from determining a customer’s location for serviceability and to use this information for competitive analysis.
Telecommunications companies find this data invaluable for market planning, competitive analysis, or to be utilized for target marketing purposes.
Features of the network files include:
- Free local calling area list
